Jeremy C. O'Dell was born in Ill. in the early 1980s. A very mechanically minded child at age six he was disassembling and reassembly clocks, radios and microwaves to learn how they worked. As an inquisitive youth he loved to read and fast became recognized by his parents and teachers alike as an encyclopedia of useless information. Today, books are still his life's blood and seldom is he seen without his nose buried in a novel or perusing the isles of his favorite bookstore in search of his next fixation. He has developed in his writing skills over the years with numerous short stories to his credit, not to mention several of the chapters in our joint efforts. His latest work, Dreams Awakening, (working title) I believe is a winner and have enjoyed working with him on this project. I would encourage him to finish, not allowing his window of opportunity to pass him by as I almost had let mine. Twenty some years is to long to wait for his son to awaken a talent that the world should learn of now. A Note From Dad: While cleaning out storage during a move a few years back my son happened upon some of my writing from back in my college years. Life and the daily grind had sidetracked my love of writing, but my son rekindled that love with encouragement and a mutual interest in the craft. With a limitless imagination Jeremy has been an inspiration to my life and an encouragement to my art. I am grateful to be blessed with such a son and continue to hope our joint efforts will find a doorway in the difficult world of publishing. |
